Jessica Simpson to star in new reality show.
 Jessica Simpson is in talks to star in a new reality TV show that will document the recording of her next album. Simpson has been in the studio recording her upcoming country album and her father/manager Joe Simpson insists she is eager to share the process with Country Music Television (CMT) viewers. He says, “With ‘Newlyweds,’ she let everyone into her world. Then she had to shut the world out. Now she can open it up again so people can see, here’s a girl struggling with self-esteem and finding her way. Country music is about storytelling, after all.” Simpson became a household name in 2003 after taking part in MTV’s hit reality series ‘Newlyweds: Nick And Jessica‘ with her then-husband, singer Nick Lachey.
