 Britney Spears was ordered by a court commissioner to pay ex-husband Kevin Federline $375,000 to cover his attorney fees in their child-custody dispute. Commissioner Scott Gordon ruled that Spears‘ actions led to a great majority of the litigation and delays in her custody case with ex-husband Kevin Federline. Mark Vincent Kaplan, Federlines lead attorney, had asked for nearly $500,000. Gordon issued the order in response to arguments presented last week. Spears‘ attorney Stacy Phillips argued that Kaplan was overbilling and that Federline can pay his own legal bills, but Gordon wrote that Spears‘ actions led to a great majority of the litigation and delays in the case. Spears has had very limited contact with her two toddler sons, who are under the sole physical and legal custody of Federline. Spears‘ father, James, was named one of two co-conservators of her estate after she was hospitalized twice in January. The conservatorship has been extended until July 31.

 The Woman who investigators said Gov. Eliot Spitzer chose for a sexual tryst, has been identified as a 22-year-old New Jersey native. The woman, previously known only as “Kristen” was legally named Ashley Youmans, but now calls herself Ashley Alexandra Dupre. Dupre, a former resident of Belmar, N.J., lives in a Flatiron District apartment where a throng of media showed up last night. “Kristen,” according to an investigation, met with Spitzer on Feb. 13 at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington for sex, a meeting arranged through the international call-girl Emperor’s Club. Spitzer, who was referred to by an FBI agent in an affidavit as “Client 9,” paid $4,300 for the session, one of many that investigators said he had with women employed by the prostitution ring that operated in cities worldwide.  Britney Spears‘ attorney says she has already spent $1 million on legal fees in her child-custody case and objects to paying a half-million dollars to ex-husband Kevin Federline’s lawyers. Attorney Stacy Phillips told a Los Angeles court commissioner that Federline’s lawyers are only entitled to about $150,000 to $175,000. She also says Spears‘ ex-husband can pay his lawyers on his own. Federline’s attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan says the case is unusually complicated and all the billing is legitimate. Commissioner Scott Gordon had not yet ruled on the matter as the hearing continued behind closed doors.

 If Britney Spears didn’t already have her hands full , she certainly does now. A raunchy sex tape starring the pop singer was leaked on the web. The 30 minute video shows the shaven headed pop star performing sex acts with 2 unidentified females and a male companion. During the video, the dazed Britney consumes alcohol and what appears to be cocaine and marijuana. The tape will undoubtedly cause more problems for her already troubled custody battle with ex-hubby Kevin Federline. Spears had to temporarily surrender custody of her sons to Federline because she defied a court order. After-hour calls to attorneys representing Spears and Federline were not immediately returned.

 Jennifer Lopez gave birth to twins making her and husband Marc Anthony the parents of a boy and a girl after one of the most closely watched pregnancies. “She’s thrilled,” Lopez’s manager, Simon Fields, said. He said, “the babies were born just after midnight.” Fields confirmed that the girl arrived first, weighing 5 pounds, 7 ounces. “Her boy is 6 pounds even and arrived about 15 minutes later at a Long Island hospital,” he said. Ending months of speculation, Lopez confirmed her pregnancy at a Miami concert in November. Her father, David Lopez, said earlier this month that she was expecting twins. Lopez and Anthony married in 2004. The twins are her first children, and his fourth and fifth.
